Now, onto more important matters: Top Chef

Ahhh Marcel. I am THRILLED that he's in the finals. Actually, I think he should've already been declared the winner after that ridiculous head-shaving attempt. I agree with Chef Tom that all of those jerkoffs should've been booted off. Of course, Bravo would never do that, even though it was perfectly justified. And I think their re-editing of that incident was totally lame. Why, Bravo? Why? Regardless, it should be a pretty interesting final episode. I'm sure you're all looking forward to my thoughts on it. Patience my dears, patience.
My latest discovery: 24
Now, I haven't been able to watch 24 until now because of a scheduling conflict with the once mighty Everwood. The fact that the stupid CW chose One Tree Hill over this show still enrages me, but at least they were able to do a final episode. One of the best series finales ever, if you ask me. Anyway, I am now hooked on 24. Am I a sick person because I was happy to see LA nuked instead of NY? Yes, I admit it! Let something happen in another city for a change. My other thought? Kumar makes terrorism HOT. And it's nice to see the evil Dr. Romano of ER playing another evil character, Jack Bauer's brother. Now, if he gets his arms chopped off by a helicopter in this series too - that would be weird. That is what happened to him on ER, right?
A Night of Boredom: NHL All-Star Game
I hate all-star games, so I pretty much flipped back and forth. The only thing I'll make mention of is the horrific renditions of the Canadian and National anthems. The Canadian anthem was performed by some "opera" singer who was too hip-heavy to be wearing those stretchy pants. Our National anthem showed us that Michelle Branch is now in some country "band" called The Wreckers, which is a great name because they wrecked the star spangled. I had to mute the TV because I was getting embarrassed. The only thing that saved it were the stars fans yelling "STARS" at the correct moments. Nice touch guys!
In any event, the next week should provide for some interesting viewing opportunities - so stay tuned!
